Sankofa Ventures

In the 1990s, Bishop Lance Davis became aware of the dyer need for fresh water in Ghana West Africa.  During his early visits in 2002 and 2003, he saw first hand how difficult it was to bring water to these villages economically.  Since then, Bishop Davis made it a top priority to address this issue pragmatically and efficiently.  As a result of his efforts and diligence, he has won the hearts of many villagers and has the support to provide ample water supply throughout the country

 



Community Action Council of Chicago

C.A.C. is a 501(c)3 organization established in 1999.  C.A.C. is a community based establishment which utilizes the fundamental aspects to teach, mentor, nurture and open doors to paths of success. Our programs are designed to reach more than 5,000 youth and community residents and designed to empower our Westside communities.

 



Nu Beginnings

The purpose of the Community Action Council is to promote the general welfare of the community: to provide resources and take those actions most responsive to the overall needs of all of the people in the community through constructive educational, child welfare, health, social, and community services programs; and to engage in all allied and incidental programs. All programs are designed to look  beyond race and gender. The purpose of each program will be to reach out to all individuals regardless of their economic status and their position in the community.
