The Game, LLC Sports Club, LLC, (hereafter referred to as The Game, LLC or The Company), is a community based establishment which utilizes the fundamental aspects of the sport of basketball to entertain, exercise, teach, mentor, nurture and open doors to paths of success. The Company threads within the fabric of its walls the courage, discipline, resilience, esteem, honor and passion in which The Game, LLC of basketball was intended, in order to provide each patron with an innovative and exhilarating experience unlike any other basketball establishment within the United States at this time.

 

Whatever meaning The Game, LLC holds, either individually or collectively, for patrons of The Game, the goal of the establishment is to provide a variety of programs, either isolated or as a whole, will encompass the defining factors to meet the needs of all. Through a spectrum of programs, The Game, LLC will provide an environment which will enable everyone to partake in the world of basketball and utilize each aspect to meet their needs.

 

The basketball programs within The Company are established to provide patrons with a venue solely focused on the sport of basketball, without other distractions that may be found in health clubs or community programs. Whether the need is defined as exercise or competitive play, within The Game, LLC, patrons will be allowed access to two (2) state-of-the-art regulation courts used solely for daily organized pick-up games provided for all skill levels, from beginner to professional. Programs for personalized or group training will be organized to meet the needs of those who desire to learn the fundamentals of The Game, LLC of basketball or to assess techniques to improve or catapult their skills to the next level of play. If the need is only a desire for entertainment, The Game, LLC answers this need by organizing monthly tournament and exhibition games for the gratification of the viewing public. This provides the fan of The Game, LLC, in addition to those seeking an affordable and safe family environment, a fun and innovative option which meet their entertainment objective.

 

To meet the needs and desires of those who are mere ”fans“ of The Game, LLC, as well as history enthusiasts, The Game, LLC has established the ”Halls of Fame“ which are unique to the environment of The Company. The Game, LLC will surround its walls with historical facts, memorabilia, (both duplicated and authentic), and artwork which emphasizes the successes, achievements and changes within the world of basketball from inception to present day. By establishing relationships with various Museums and Halls of Fame throughout the United States and Canada, in addition to legendary and present day professional players and key individuals within the basketball arena, The Company has the ability to provide patrons within the community a first hand history lesson and point of observation into the broad and significant world of basketball.

 

Its main focus will be the ”Street Legions“, those basketball players who have been long forgotten. Unlike the well known professional player of today, these are individual ball players who could have made it into the pro league or would have made it into the professional ranks had it not been for some unforeseen presence. These names are echoed on the streets today by the common man to pros when engaged in ”bragging“ conversations….you should have seen so and so, back in the day.

 

Within one establishment history unfolds before your eyes through exhibits that concentrate on The Game, LLC itself, the players; both men and women, the coaches, the rules and intention of The Game, LLC, as well as, all of the outside factors which have been affected by The Game, LLC of basketball, such as shoe and athletic apparel. Annual meet and greet to include autograph sessions have also been established in order to provide living history lessons, in addition to providing another venue to bring the world of basketball closer to the community.

 

The Game, LLC recognizes the need of the community and its responsibility to future generations of leaders by establishing year-round mentoring programs within its institution. Using the sport of basketball as an olive branch between the organization and the youth of the community, The Company’s goal and aspiration of providing a non-traditional mentoring program focusing on the cultivation of self-esteem, character building, academic goals and the development of lifelong dreams and ambitions can be achieved. Our youth programs will focus on the development of athletic skills through junior leagues and summer camps rooted in the foundation of fundamental skills and sportsmanship in which The Game, LLC of basketball was created.

 

The Game, LLC utilizes the sport of basketball to address the needs of the community by creating a nurturing, safe and fun environment as an alternative to the troubles of the neighborhood for the youth within the surrounding areas. Additionally, by providing social and professional mentors for the youth of the community, partnerships as well as rewarding relationships are cultivated, thereby providing a vast world of opportunity, exposure and wisdom within the lives of young men and women who otherwise might be overlooked or left behind.

 

Through observation of the needs of the community, and the various opportunities afforded by the sports world, The Company has obtained the innovation and drive to bring all of these programs under one roof, providing a plethora of activities and options for all. The Game, LLC Sports Club, LLC, believe the time is right and of the essence for capitalization of this new and innovative venture.

 

The Company’s desire is to develop this facility within Chicago’s Englewood community where it will be of most significance, have the greatest immediate impact and provide the best scenario for the aspirations of The Company to succeed. A more detailed analysis of the exceptional location will be performed upon funding of the venture.

 

An analysis of the target industry has observed the strength of the industry as being vital and of increasing growth and significant monetary gain. This can be viewed by the ~$1.1 million in average sales of the 603 membership based sports and recreation clubs in the Chicago metropolitan area. According to Mintel International Group, ~877,800 people in the Cook and DuPage counties are projected to have active memberships at a sports and recreation facility in 2006, up from an estimated 752,400 people in 2000. Additionally, The Game, LLC Clothing Line will be featured as another marketing and revenue component. The Game Clothing Line will include work out, fitness and basket ball clothing for men and women. It will provide high quality garments at a reasonable cost and is currently seeking sponsorship from the likes of Nike and Addais which will enable The Game, LLC Clothing Line to gain name recognition throughout the country while providing additional source of funding. Merchandising and marketing of The Game, LLC Clothing Line through some of the recognized sports stores such as Foot Locker and Lady Foot Locker as well as the Super K stores will be the initial focus.

 

The Company will use an aggressive and diversified marketing strategy to reach its potential market and to gain market share. By providing the various programs within the institution, The Game, LLC is able to bring basketball, history, and mentoring to the community in order to meet a vast array of needs and, therefore, succeed in reaching several markets within the Chicagoland and Englewood area. All marketing dollars will either bring potential members into the facility.
